Through
its subsidiary, the Islamic
Education Institute of Texas (IEIT),
the ISGH presently operates three full-time schools
under the name of Dar-ul-Arqam. These schools are located
in the North Zone, Southwest Zone, and Southeast Zone
centers. All three schools are licensed and recognized
by the State of Texas. Dar-ul-Arqam schools provide
education similar to that offered by public schools
as well as basic Islamic studies in a totally Islamic
environment. The present enrollment is 325 students
and classes are offered through the ninth grade level.
Plans are being worked out to bring all three schools
to the twelfth level grade and to open another school
at the South Zone center. ------------------------
